Dr. Raman Thind-Gill was born and raised in Edmonton. She was enrolled in her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta, when she pursued her passion in optometry and graduated from Aston University (UK) with a BSc (Hons) MC Optom. Upon her return to Canada, Dr. Thind-Gill graduated from the University of Waterloo’s International Optometric Bridging Program. She has been in practice for almost nine years.
Dr. Thind-Gill’s keen interest in optometry began while she was working as an assistant at a local optometry clinic during her undergraduate studies. This position provided her with the knowledge and interest of helping people with their vision and selection of suitable eyewear/lenses. Dr. Thind-Gill enjoys being thorough in her examinations, so her patients are able to understand their eye health. She has a keen interest in dry eye therapy and studying ocular disease.
When not seeing patients, she enjoys travelling and spending quality time with her family.
